Astrid is taking over!

Don’t let the pretty face fool you, Astrid has her hands in just about everything these days including modeling, acting, business, and of course, rock music!

From the early age of 4 Astrid picked up a violin and pretty soon she was featured performing classical concerts on television networks all over Europe. After 20 years of training, Astrid yearned for the bright lights and loud guitars of rock and roll and moved to America to pursue her love of fashion and music.  Upon settling in Los Angeles she put together a great band, including Randy Cooke, Joe Dunne, Steve Fekete, Emerson Swinford, and legendary producer Rob Giles.  Giles and Astrid seemed to have instant chemistry penning such future classics as “Sooner or Later”, “Taking Over”, and “Nothing Can Stop me”.

Not long after putting the finishing touches on her album she signed with Watley recordings who are also based in Los Angeles.  The CEO of Watley recordings said of Astrid “when I heard her voice and listened to 3 songs, I was totally sold!!

Taking Over ready for release August 15th and tour dates cannot be far behind.
